Anthracite media

Anthracite media is a high-quality filtration material used primarily in water and wastewater treatment systems. It consists of crushed, graded hard coal (anthracite) that is high in carbon content and has excellent filtration characteristics. Due to its high carbon content, durability, and unique physical properties, anthracite is especially effective in multi-media filtration systems to remove suspended solids, turbidity, and other particulate matter from water. Its use in multi-media filters helps improve filtration efficiency and extend the lifespan of finer media layers like sand or garnet
