Distributors

The distribution system is a critical component of any FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) multimedia filtration tank, ensuring uniform flow of water through the filter media during both service and backwash cycles. Proper design and installation of the distribution system significantly enhance the efficiency and performance of the filtration process.

Our distribution systems are designed for optimal hydraulic balance, reducing channeling and maximizing media contact. They are constructed using corrosion-resistant materials such as PVC, ABS, or polypropylene to ensure compatibility with various water qualities and operating conditions.

System Components:

• Top Distributor / Diffuser – Ensures even distribution of incoming water over the media bed.
• Bottom Distributor / Collector (Hub & Lateral or Strainer Type) – Collects filtered water evenly and distributes backwash water uniformly.
• Risers / Central Pipes – Connect the top and bottom distributors, usually perforated or slotted to support flow and prevent media migration.
• Laterals – Slot or hole-based arms radiating from a central hub to distribute or collect water uniformly.
